How It Works

  1. Go to System Admin > Integrations and click Add Connector
  2. Select your PMS system (Cloudbeds, Mews, Guesty, OPERA Cloud, Infor HMS, or Infor HMS Direct)
  3. Enter your PMS API credentials (see setup guides above)
  4. Choose which PropertyPlex property to sync with
  5. Click Test & Connect — PropertyPlex verifies the connection and starts syncing

What Gets Synced

Data Direction Description
Room Inventory PMS → PropertyPlex Room names, numbers, types, floor, occupancy, bed configuration
Reservations PMS → PropertyPlex Guest names, check-in/check-out dates, special requests
Check-in / Check-out PMS → PropertyPlex Automatic room status updates when guests arrive or depart
Room Status PropertyPlex → PMS Housekeeping status (Ready, Turning, Inspection, Out of Order)

Sync Frequency

By default, connectors poll the PMS every 5 minutes for room and reservation updates. For PMS systems that support webhooks (Cloudbeds, Guesty), real-time events like check-in and check-out are processed immediately.

You can adjust the polling interval per connector in System Admin > Integrations.

Troubleshooting

Connector shows "Error" status

Click the connector row to view the error details and sync log. Common causes:

After 10 consecutive failures, the connector is automatically paused. Fix the issue, then click the play button to reactivate.

Rooms not syncing

Ensure the PMS property ID matches the correct property in your PMS. You can trigger a manual sync from the connector detail view.
