Properties
Set up and manage your properties, rooms, and property-level settings.
Adding a Property
Each property in PropertyPlex represents a physical location you manage — a hotel, vacation rental, office building, or residential complex.
- From the dashboard, tap Add Property or go to Properties → +
- Enter the property name (e.g., "Oceanview Hotel" or "123 Main St")
- Enter the full street address
- Select the property type: Hotel, Vacation Rental, Commercial, or Residential
- Tap Save to create the property

Property Details
The property detail screen is your command center for a single location. From here you can see all rooms, recent work orders, and property settings.

- Overview — Room count, active work orders, team members assigned
- Rooms — List of all rooms with current status
- Work Orders — Recent and open work orders for this property
- Settings — Property-level configuration
Room Management
Rooms are the core unit within a property. Each room can have its own status, work orders, and housekeeping assignments.
Adding Rooms
- Open a property and tap the Rooms tab
- Tap Add Room
- Enter the room number or name
- Select the room type (Standard, Suite, Deluxe, etc.)
- Optionally set the floor number
- Tap Save

Bulk Import
For properties with many rooms, use the bulk import feature to add multiple rooms at once.
- From the Rooms tab, tap Bulk Import
- Enter a range (e.g., "101-120") or a comma-separated list
- Select the room type to apply to all imported rooms
- Review the preview and tap Import

Property Settings
Configure property-level preferences that affect how PropertyPlex behaves for this location.

- Notification preferences — Choose which events trigger push notifications for this property
- Escalation rules — Auto-escalate work orders that exceed a time threshold
- PMS connector — Link a Property Management System for automatic room sync (see Connector Developer Docs)
- Default assignees — Pre-assign team members for specific room types or floors
