Getting Started

Go from sign-up to managing your first property in under 10 minutes.

infoWhat You'll Set Up

Step 1: Sign Up

Create your PropertyPlex account to get started with a 30-day free trial.

  1. Open the PropertyPlex app on your phone or visit the web dashboard
  2. Tap Create Account
  3. Enter your name, email address, and choose a password
  4. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox
  5. Log in with your new credentials

Step 2: First Login & Setup Wizard

When you log in for the first time, the setup wizard walks you through the essentials.

  1. Choose your organization name (e.g., "Sunset Hotels" or "Maple Property Management")
  2. Select your industry — Hotel, Vacation Rental, Commercial Property, or Residential
  3. Set your time zone and preferred language

Step 3: Create Your First Property

Add a property so you have a place to manage rooms, work orders, and team activity.

  1. From the dashboard, tap Add Property
  2. Enter the property name and address
  3. Select the property type (Hotel, Vacation Rental, Commercial, Residential)
  4. Add rooms — you can enter them one by one or use the bulk import option
  5. Tap Save to create the property

You can always add more rooms later from the property detail screen. Start with a few rooms to get familiar with the workflow.

Step 4: Invite Your Team

Bring your team on board so they can start receiving assignments and updating statuses.

  1. Go to Team from the bottom navigation
  2. Tap Invite Member
  3. Enter their email address
  4. Assign a role: Admin, Manager, Technician, or Hospitality
  5. Tap Send Invite — they'll receive an email with a link to join

Step 5: Create Your First Work Order

Test the workflow by creating a work order and assigning it to a team member.

  1. Go to Work Orders from the bottom navigation
  2. Tap the + button to create a new work order
  3. Select the property and room
  4. Enter a title and description of the issue
  5. Set the priority (Low, Normal, High, Urgent)
  6. Assign it to a team member
  7. Optionally attach a photo of the issue
  8. Tap Create — the assigned person will receive a push notification
